When he is not delivering exceptional client service, David is managing Mickey Llew’s technology partners to extract as much value as possible for our clients as well as Mickey Llew. Marketing efforts for Mickey Llew and growing the business portfolio are outputs from these work streams.

He has cultivated a deep understanding and expertise within the digital marketing sector and client strategy. Merging these two passions has afforded David with the opportunity to understand clients’ strategic search goals and provide tangible results that show progress and results to the clients.

With an educational background in IT Engineering, and solution selling experience in the software and IT industry, David revolves his future career aspects around sustainable expansion of Mickey Llew into Africa the ever changing and growing Google Search landscape

David Jenkins is Africa obsessed – Having worked at CaseWare Africa he was afforded the opportunity to spear head the business into Africa and as a bi-product of that understand the scale of the opportunity it presents. The Africa exposure combined with the next step in his career – Groupon South Africa – moulded the vision he has for Digital marketing in Africa. 


aThe vision required some more enterprise and turnkey exposure to digital implementation and rollout which led David to Digital Planet, undoubtably one of the best turnkey e commerce partners in Africa. The founding of Mickey Llew – It was soon after meeting Chris Avery, the now co-founder of Mickey Llew that David realised he had met someone who shared the same vision, values and work ethos he had. Chris being an expert in SEO/Organic Search made for the perfect partner and in Davids’ own words “It was a matter of when, not if, we were going to do this”  The company was established and boot strapped from day one, working hard to acquire new clients and even harder to deliver exceptional results which has hasn’t and won’t change as they look to continue the successes achieved since inception.

Why Google Search ?  “I am driven by measurable results that can fundamentally change and improve a clients business, and this (SEO) space provides a wealth of those.”
